Regular portfolios are highly valued in authentic assessment of children but electronic portfolios (E-Portfolios) are a new phenomenon in early childhood education and there is minimal existing research available on their use and effectiveness as a learning and communication tool in early childhood education. In this study, three highly experienced early childhood teachers from a small city were interviewed about their perspectives on e-portfolios.
