O presente texto pretende fazer uma análise da literatura oral e das rezas dos curandeiros, enquanto manifestações populares e expressão de uma substancial parte da cultura nordestina, redefinir sua influencia sobre a cultura amazônica dentro de uma definição mais ampla da arte e da cultura, tentando perceber, através da análise da estrutura e do conteúdo das rezas e narrativas orais, a permanência ou a mudança de valores da cultura do migrante em contato com as culturas locais e as possíveis influências destas sobre a formação cultural dos municípios do Vale do Juruá.Prayers and stories are oral cultural manifestations crossing time through orality. The goal here is to understand through the interpretation of the ways that the construction goes through to represent the symbolic forms of social organization, religion, ethics and moral values present in the oral narratives and the prayers of Juruá Valley.
