As intervenções que realizámos ao nível da Educação Pré-escolar permitiram ir ao encontro de uma realidade que caracteriza este nível de ensino: o recurso às canções infantis como contributo lúdico para a aprendizagem e facilitador do desenvolvimento de competências associadas às áreas de conteúdo, em particular à Expressão Musical. Neste sentido, empreendemos um estudo de caso em torno das canções infantis na Educação Pré-escolar de modo a averiguar o modo como as canções são exploradas pelo educador de infância. A recolha de dados, efetuou-se através do recurso a observações não-participantes e ao inquérito por entrevista, tendo como intervenientes uma educadora de infância e o seu grupo de crianças. Os resultados obtidos permitiram concluir que, no caso específico do contexto onde decorreu a recolha de dados, as canções infantis são exploradas pela educadora de infância em função dos conteúdos propostos pela Expressão Musical, nomeadamente, as características do som.In the context of the Master's degree in Pre-school Education and I Teach of 1st Cycle of the Basic Teaching, this Final Report of Traineeship is exposed like reflex of the route effectuated in context of Preschool Education and 1st Cycle of the Basic Teaching. The interventions what we carried out at the level of the Pre-school Education allowed to go and meet a reality that characterizes this level of teaching: the use of playful children’s songs as a contribution to learning and facilitating the development of skills associated with content areas, particularly the Musical Expression. Therefore, we build a case study around the children's songs in Preschool Education in order to ascertain how the songs are operated by the teacher. The data collection was made through the observation of non - participants and by the use of interview survey, made to a kindergarten teacher and her group of children.
