It infuences the development of innovation, knowledge transference, and the development of countries. On the other hand, the government plays a crucial role in developing policies to fnance and leverage these relationships to increase innovation and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the infuence of local and regional, national, and European government support has on companies’ cooperation with other frms, universities, or governments. This article uses the database of the 2014 Community Innovation Survey. The method uses logistic regression. This research contributed to realizing that public funds play a fundamental role in developing cooperation between triple helix (TH) agents; however, not all have the same level of infuence. The results confrm that when companies obtain public funds to innovate, there is a signifcant impact on TH intervening agents’ cooperation.
