Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório Final de Estágio incorpora uma reflexão crítica sobre as práticas desenvolvidas em contexto e uma investigação empírica que pretende averiguar as perspetivas dos professores e alunos em relação à metodologia de trabalho de grupo e a sua utilização nas diferentes áreas disciplinares do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (1.º CEB). Para isso, recorremos ao material por nós elaborado ao longo do estágio, bem como a autores de referência em educação e à legislação em vigor, com a finalidade de refletirmos sobre as nossas práticas e também sobre o trabalho de grupo e a sua utilização nas diversas áreas disciplinares.
Em termos empíricos, realizámos uma investigação de caráter descritivo, com recurso ao inquérito por questionário. Este foi aplicado a professores do 1.º CEB e alunos do 4.º ano de escolaridade de três Agrupamentos de Escolas do concelho de Viseu.
Os dados obtidos permitem concluir que o trabalho de grupo é considerado bastante importante. Esta metodologia de trabalho é utilizada uma vez por semana, principalmente na área disciplinar de Estudo do Meio, área em que o trabalho de grupo é utilizado com mais frequência devido à maior adequabilidade dos seus conteúdos a este tipo de metodologia. O trabalho de grupo possibilita aos alunos não só o desenvolvimento de atributos de ordem académica como também qualidades de ordem social.
This final training report involves a critical reflection on the practices developed in context and an empirical study on teachers and students perspectives on group work as a methodology and its implementation in the different disciplinary areas of Elementary Education. Our references for this study were the instruments developed through our training, as well as renowned authors on Educational research and the legislation in force. Our aim is to reflect on our practices, on team work and its application on the different disciplinary areas. Through an exploratory study which incorporated the collection and analysis of qualitative data, involving a questionnaire with elementary education teachers and fourth grade students from three different groups of schools from Viseu District. We conclude group work is seen as quite an effective method, mainly by the subject of Environmental Study where group work is used more often, at least once a week. The subject matter of Environmental Study promotes effectiveness of this method and in overall enhances student learning as well as social skills.
