Abstract(s)
The present study has the general objective of knowing and understanding family strengths, the processes of resilience and the coping strategies most used by families in vulnerable contexts. The sample is a convenience sample, with around 50 people (n=50), mostly female, with an average age of 33.8 years. The evaluation protocol included a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Family Strengths Questionnaire, the F-COPES and the Family Resilience Profile. The main results confirm the idea already defended by several authors, since after the discussion of the same, the vulnerable families surveyed showed little ability to solve problems due to personal, financial and emotional conditions. However, families reveal that, by applying coping strategies, they are able to enhance resilience and the ability to face adversity in the multiple crises they face.
