Resumo
A excelência dos cuidados ao recém-nascido
depende, em grande parte, da capacitação dos pais para a
autonomia nos cuidados ao filho, exigindo aprendizagem da
informação veiculada pelo enfermeiro. O registo dos ensinos
permite avaliar o processo de (in) formação e a definição do
tipo de ensinos abordados, o que contribui para a eficiência e
qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem.
Com este estudo pretendeu-se descrever quais os
ensinos efetivamente abordados e preconizados na preparação
dos pais para o cuidar do recém-nascido (RN) após a alta e
identificar os locais de anotação/registo mais utilizados para o
registo desses mesmos ensinos no aplicativo SAPE (Sistema
de Apoio à Prática de Enfermagem).
Dos resultados obtidos emergiu não existirem
critérios na efetivação dos registos de enfermagem e que, dos
ensinos preconizados, nem todos são alvo de abordagem,
tornando evidente a necessidade da definição de boas práticas
na preparação dos pais para a alta do RN.
Abstract The excellence of care to the newborn depends largely of parent capacity for autonomy of the child care, demanding learning conveyed by the nurse. The record of teachings allows evaluating the process of (in) formation and the definition of the type of teachings addressed, which contributes to the efficiency and quality of nursing care. With the study carried out it was intended to describe which advocated teaching in preparing parents to care for the newborn after discharge are effectively addressed and to identify the location of annotation more used in SAPE (Support System for Nursing Practice) to record these same teachings. Emerged from this study that there are no criteria in the effectiveness of nursing records and that, from the teachings advocated, not all are target of approach, making clear the need of developing good practices in preparing parents for discharge of the newborn.
