- Quantitative study of the effects of setting changes on the LTASPublication . Delplancq, Véronique; Harmegnies, Bernard; Esling, JohnSeveral experiments have suggested that deliberate changes of the speaker's voice quality result in modifying the LTAS of his speech production. The purpose of our experiment is to combine Nolan'a approach, allowing to control the introduced vocal variability, with a quantitative technique allowing to measure the resulting spectral variability.
- Social distribution of long-term average spectral characteristics in vancouver englishPublication . Delplancq, Véronique; Harmegnies, Bernard; Esling, JohnThis project examines differentiation in voice quality setting across varieties of english in urban Vancouver, Canada.
