Esta dissertação caracteriza-se como sendo um estudo inserido no tema
Guimarães Capital Europeia da Cultura 2012. Sendo o turismo um dos principais
agentes da economia global, e sendo o tema central deste estudo o Turismo Cultural,
merece uma análise cuidada do tema em estudo. Assim, e dado a crescente evolução do
turismo cultural, o principal objectivo deste estudo é compreender as imagens do
destino, satisfação e motivação dos turistas presentes em Guimarães Capital Europeia da
Cultura 2012, uma vez que se tratou de um evento realizado apenas pela terceira vez em
Portugal.
O turismo cultural, que cada vez mais em voga, tem em Portugal um ênfase
perante os turistas que cada vez mais exigentes que procuram experiências diferentes e
únicas. Verifica-se que nos últimos anos há uma emergência para o consumo nesta área
dos serviços.
Para que se possam tirar conclusões práticas, foi realizado um questionário
presencial a turistas presentes em Guimarães. Os dados foram analisados e extraídos
pelo SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), por meio de ferramentas
descritivas, análises univariantes e análise de regressão linear.
No final foram apresentadas conclusões dos dados onde se verificou que as variáveis
motivação e satisfação dos turistas presentes em Guimarães Capital Europeia da Cultura
2012 são as variáveis que mais influenciam a visita e que portanto mereceram uma
análise mais cuidada das mesmas.
ABSTRACT: This work is characterized as being inserted in a study topic Guimarães Capital Europeia da Cultura 2012. Since tourism is a major player in the global economy and the central theme of this study Cultural Tourism, deserves a careful analysis of the topic under study. Thus, given the growing trend of cultural tourism, the main objective of this study is to understand the images of the destination, satisfaction and motivation of tourists present in Guimarães Capital Europeia da Cultura 2012, since it is performed only event the third time in Portugal. Cultural tourism, which is increasingly in vogue, as in Portugal one emphasis towards tourists who increasingly demanding, seeking different experiences and unique. It is noted that in recent years there is an emergency for consumption in this area of services. So that we can draw practical conclusions, conducted a questionnaire face the tourists present in Guimarães. Data were analyzed and extracted by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), by way of descriptive tools, univariants analysis and linear regression analysis. Findings were presented at the end of the data where there was the variables motivation and satisfaction of tourists present in Guimarães Capital Europeia da Cultura 2012 are the variables that most influence the visit and therefore deserve closer analysis of same.
