suportar e viabilizar o presente trabalho.
This study aims to explore the potential of a digital twin model to monitor indoor environmental conditions in buildings. Seeking to identify and demonstrate the best available procedures and technologies, the feasibility of its implementation was analyzed through a model of the ESTGV building. Initially, a literature review was conducted on the topic, including case studies that provided information on the various stages required to support and substantiate the present work. Following this phase, a three-dimensional survey of the building was carried out using reality capture techniques, followed by the implementation of a sensor system and, finally, the creation of the digital twin model. From the execution of the practical component, the information was systematized through a methodical and didactic description of the adopted procedures. The aim is to document the stages and facilitate the development of digital twin models in other domains of knowledge and application. The results obtained demonstrate the potential of the adopted methodology for model creation, while also highlighting the difficulties and limitations encountered throughout the process, as well as parallels with the insights and experiences identified in the literature review. In summary, this work made it possible to understand the complexity associated with an integrated digital model aimed at creating a digital twin. Furthermore, it enabled the exploration of the potential of emerging technologies, particularly those related to reality capture. Finally, it was possible to identify areas for action and development with potential for further research and improvement in future studies.
