| dc.description.abstract | Introdução: A saúde sexual das mulheres é uma das áreas em que o enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de saúde materna e obstétrica deve ter uma intervenção especializada no sentido de potenciar níveis de saúde sexual e ginecológica na mulher. A sexualidade no pósparto parece ser um tema ainda pouco premente na discussão entre puérperas e estes profissionais, levando a que muitas se sintam nesta adaptação à sua nova realidade, sozinhas e sem apoio diferenciado/ especializado, sendo essencial capacitar os enfermeiros especialistas em enfermagem de saúde materna e obstétrica para uma transição para a parentalidade mais saudável olhando de forma holística para a mulher neste período. Objetivos: Este relatório apresenta dois objetivos últimos: Analisar criticamente as atividades desenvolvidas durante os ensinos clínicos e o desenvolvimento de competências essenciais para a obtenção do título de Mestre e Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica; Mapear a evidência científica existente relativa aos fatores, percecionados pelas mulheres, que influenciam o retorno à sua sexualidade e à sua vida sexual ativa após o parto. Metodologia: Relativamente aos 5 estágios desenvolvidos, foi realizada uma análise criticoreflexiva das atividades realizadas e das competências comuns e especificas do enfermeiro especialista adquiridas e desenvolvidas em cada um deles. Em relação à componente de investigação, realizou-se uma revisão scoping de acordo com o método da Joanna Briggs Institute, com pesquisa nas bases de dados científicas: MEDLINE, a CINAHL, a Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive, Academic Search Complete e a PubMed. Esta pesquisa foi realizada a 27 de novembro de 2024, em português, inglês, espanhol e francês, sem limite temporal, sendo incluídos 12 artigos científicos, após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão definidos. Resultados: Os estágios desenvolvidos foram essenciais para a obtenção de competências quer comuns, quer especificas do enfermeiro especialista de saúde materna e obstétrica. Da Scoping Review realizada emergem 5 fatores major que influenciam o retorno à sexualidade no pósparto, sendo eles a disfunção sexual, o não se sentirem prontas (física e emocionalmente), a realização da quarentena ou ida à consulta pós-parto, a redefinição de papeis quer da própria mulher quer do casal e a amamentação. Conseguimos ainda perceber que existem alguns fatores que levam ao retorno mais precoce, como a multiparidade, menores níveis de literacia, mulheres mais jovens e a existência de períneo integro após o parto. O tipo de parto não demonstra ter influência no retorno à atividade sexual no pós-parto. Conclusão: Após os estágios foram cumpridos o número mínimo de experiências exigidas para a obtenção do título de Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, assim como foram adquiridas as competências inerentes ao mesmo. Com a investigação desenvolvida conclui-se que existem inúmeros fatores que influenciam, maioritariamente, negativamente o retorno ao pós-parto. A sexualidade no pós-parto é um tema considerado tabu pelas mulheres e não é discutido com os profissionais de saúde que os acompanham. Os EEESMO devem empoderar as mulheres nesta fase de maior vulnerabilidade e dotá-las de conhecimento para que possam ter uma experiência positiva do pós-parto. | dc.description.abstract | Abstract Introduction: Women's sexual health is one of the areas in which nurses specializing in maternal and obstetric health nursing must provide specialized intervention in order to enhance women's sexual and gynecological health. Postpartum sexuality seems to be a topic that is still not widely discussed between new mothers and these professionals, leading many to feel alone and without specialized support as they adapt to their new reality. It is essential to train nurses specializing in maternal and obstetric health nursing to facilitate a healthier transition to parenthood by taking a holistic view of women during this period. Objectives: This report has two ultimate objectives: To critically analyze the activities developed during clinical training and the development of essential skills for obtaining the title of Master and Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing; To map the existing scientific evidence regarding the factors, perceived by women, that influence the return to their sexuality and their active sex life after childbirth. Methodology: With regard to the five internships, a critical-reflective analysis was made of the activities carried out and the common and specific competencies of the specialist nurse acquired and developed in each one. With regard to the research component, a scoping review was carried out in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute method, using the following scientific databases: MEDLINE, CINAHL, Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive, Academic Search Complete and PubMed. This search was carried out on November 27, 2024, in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, with no time limit, and 12 scientific articles were included after applying the defined inclusion criteria. Results: The internships developed were essential for obtaining both common and specific competencies of the maternal and obstetric health nurse specialist. The Scooping Review revealed five major factors that influence the return to sexuality in the postpartum period: sexual dysfunction, not feeling ready (physically and emotionally), quarantine or going to a postpartum appointment, redefining the roles of both the woman and the couple, and breastfeeding. We were also able to see that there are some factors that lead to an earlier return, such as multiparity, lower literacy levels, younger women and the existence of a full perineum after childbirth. The type of delivery did not prove to have an influence on the return to sexual activity in the postpartum period. Conclusion: After the internships, the small number of experiences required to obtain the title of Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing were fulfilled, and the skills inherent to it were acquired. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that there are numerous factors which, for the most part, negatively influence the return to the postpartum period. Sexuality in the postpartum period is a taboo subject for women and is not discussed with the health professionals who accompany them. The EHES should empower women in this phase of greatest vulnerability and equip them with knowledge so that they can have a positive postpartum experience.
