Abstract(s)
A complexidade das dinâmicas e desafios associados às situações de risco e
perigo de crianças/jovens requer um processo de avaliação cuidadoso e rigoroso.
A escola e todos os profissionais que lá trabalham, tem um papel extremamente
importante na sinalização, diagnóstico, acompanhamento e encaminhamento destas
situações no sentido de procurar soluções devido aos direitos que lhes assistem em
proporcionar aos alunos um desenvolvimento integral a todos os níveis.
O presente trabalho surge em virtude de se tentar perceber quais as dinâmicas e
desafios da escola perante menores em risco, de forma, a que os dados contribuam
para a organização de um questionário de caracterização das problemáticas e
identificação de estratégias preventivas.
Foram aplicadas entrevistas numa amostra de profissionais do meio escolar e a
respetiva análise de conteúdo.
Os resultados evidenciam uma vasta panóplia de casos que nem sempre são
fáceis de detetar advindo muitas vezes de famílias multidesafiadas. Verificou-se que a
escola tem ainda um caminho a percorrer na área da prevenção. Apartir da análise
dos resultados foi possível propor um protótipo de inquérito a utilizar no futuro.
Ignorar as problemáticas de risco com jovens nunca pode ser a solução,fazê-lo é
comprometer-se a vida do menor, assim como o seu futuro perdendo-se a
oportunidade de ajudar uma família em crise. A escola tem o dever de prevenir e
intervir, implementando estratégias ajustadas a cada caso para evitar situações mais
graves. No entanto, esta não é uma tarefa fácil, uma vez que tanto as verbas como os
recursos humanos especializados são insuficientes.
ABSTRACT The complexity of the dynamics and challenges associated with risk situations and danger of children / young people requires a process of careful and rigorous evaluation. The school and all the professionals who work there, have an extremely important role in signalling, diagnosis, monitoring and routing of these situations in seeking solutions because of the rights they have to provide students with a comprehensive development at all levels. This work arises by virtue of trying to understand the dynamics and challenges of school before children at risk, in order, to which they contribute to the organization of a questionnaire to characterize the problems and identifying preventive strategies. Interviews were applied in a sample of professional school and the respective content analysis. The results show a wide range of cases that are not always easy to detect arising multi-challenged families. It was found that the school still has a way to go in the area of prevention. Starting from the analysis of the results was possible to propose a prototype survey to use in the future. Ignore the risk of problems with young people can never be the solution, doing so is to commit to lower life as well as your future losing the opportunity to help a family in crisis. The school has a duty to prevent and intervene by implementing strategies adjusted in each case to prevent more situations that are serious. However, this is not an easy task, since both the funds and the specialized human resources are insufficient.
