RESUMO
Este projecto centra-se no desenvolvimento de competĂȘncias pessoais e sociais de crianças e jovens em Acolhimento Institucional, com vista Ă promoção da sua autonomia. O projecto serĂĄ aplicado num Lar de InfĂąncia e Juventude (LIJ), sito na cidade de Viseu onde, actualmente, residem 15 crianças e jovens do sexo feminino. Adoptou-se como metodologia de avaliação das necessidades uma abordagem qualitativa, que envolveu oito adolescentes e dois tĂ©cnicos. Recorreu-se a questionĂĄrios (aos adolescentes) e entrevistas semi-estruturadas (aos tĂ©cnicos), como tĂ©cnicas de recolha de dados, procedendo-se a posteriori Ă anĂĄlise de conteĂșdo.
A avaliação incidiu sobre a anĂĄlise da existĂȘncia de competĂȘncias nas ĂĄreas da higiene pessoal, saĂșde, estabilidade emocional, gestĂŁo domĂ©stica, cumprimento de regras e regulamentos, interacção social e adaptação, gestĂŁo financeira e escola/formação e emprego das jovens, de forma a identificar as estratĂ©gias e procedimentos orientadas para a concepção dos projectos de vida de autonomização, por parte do LIJ, com vista a desenvolver nas jovens competĂȘncias sociais.
ABSTRACT This project focuses on developing personal and social skills of children and youth in Institutional Shelter, to promote their autonomy. The project will be implemented in the Home for Children and Youth, located in Viseu where they currently reside 15 children and young women. Has been adopted as a methodology for assessing needs a qualitative approach, which involved eight teenagers and two technicians. Appealed to the questionnaires (adolescents) and semi-structured interviews (the coaches), as techniques for gathering data, proceeding to the subsequent content analysis. The evaluation focused on the analysis of the availability of skills in the areas of personal hygiene, health, emotional stability, home management, compliance with rules and regulations, social interaction and adaptation, financial management and school / training and employment of young people, and know what strategies and procedures in designing the life projects of autonomy on the part of the LIJ, to develop social skills in young people.
