Resumo
Este projecto de acção descreve o processo de elaboração de um programa de
educação parental, como estratégia de intervenção junto de famílias multidesafiadas,
que são acompanhadas no âmbito de uma medida social, Rendimento Social de
Inserção, por uma equipa multidisciplinar, do Concelho de Viseu.
O principal objectivo deste projecto foi impulsionar e reforçar competências
parentais, essenciais para o desenvolvimento de relações familiares positivas. Para
tal, foi elaborado um programa de educação parental designado de “Crescer em
Família”.
Com este trabalho apresentamos a construção de um programa de educação
parental, que constitui o culminar de um processo de recolha de dados e avaliação
realizada junto de uma amostra de vinte famílias previamente seleccionada. Acresce
ainda, que subjaz a esta investigação um trabalho rigoroso de quatro anos de terreno
junto de famílias, que os múltiplos desafios da vida foram marcando, contudo famílias
competentes, repletas de recursos à espera de serem reconhecidos e mobilizados.
Este trabalho apresenta uma breve revisão de literatura sobre as temáticas da
parentalidade e educação parental, a metodologia utilizada para elaboração do
diagnóstico e levantamento de necessidade e finalmente uma proposta de programa
de educação parental. Os resultados deste diagnóstico são analisados e apresentados
conforme a metodologia de planeamento de projectos por objectivos (MPPO).
O programa coloca a ênfase em áreas como a comunicação, a disciplina positiva
e ainda a gestão de emoções, identificadas como áreas problemáticas e tem como
principal objectivo promover o desenvolvimento das competências pessoais, sociais e
parentais em famílias multidesafiadas, com o intuito de melhorar o bem-estar das
famílias e suas dinâmicas relacionais.
Abstract The present work describe the process of elaboration of a program of parental education, as a intervention strategy with multi-stresses families, families subject of a social measure, Rendimento Social de Inserção, and intervened by a multidiscipline team, in the city of Viseu. In order to stimulate and strengthen parental skills, essential to promote in the positives families relationships, was elaborated a program, designated “Crescer em Família”. With this work we present the construction of this program of parental education, result of collect data and evaluation carried through a select sample of twenty families. Igualy, in a underlying way, the resulted of a rigorous work of four years next to families, in field, families whom the multiple challenges of life marking them, however families full of resources, waiting to be recognized and mobilized. This present work present a brief revision on the thematic of parenthood and parental education, the methodology used for elaboration of the diagnosis and survey of needs, and finally a proposal of a program of parental education. The results of this diagnosis are analyzed and presented as the methodology of planning projects by objectives. The program emphasized the areas such as communication, positive discipline and management of emotions, identified as problematic areas and had for main goal to promote the development of the personal, social and parental abilities in multi-stressed families, with intention to promote well-being and on there relational dynamic.
