Abstract(s)
Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
This final report is presented under the Master in Pre-School Education and tutorship of the 1st cycle of Basic Education. It’s divided into two parts, the first is based on a critical reflection on the practices developed during the internship, both in pre-school education and 1st cycle of Basic Education, which foresees pedagogical and didactic aspects and core competencies to professionals, to promote quality education. The second part of the internship’s final report is a quantitative research and it’s main goal was to understand if the bond between the teacher and student has influence on their academic performance. Thus, a survey was conducted to answer three main objectives: i) understand teacher’s perception about the dimensions of their student’s bond; ii) evaluate teacher’s perception about the academic performance of their students; iii) understand the relationship between bond security and academic performance of students. The analysis of the data collected allowed to conclude, with certainty, that there is indeed a significant relationship between bonding and academic performance in the curriculum area of Mathematics.
