dc.description.abstractAo longo desta dissertação pretende-se explorar o conceito de património e compreendê-lo como fator identitário de uma comunidade, evidenciando a importância da sua preservação, valorização e promoção. A revisão de literatura centra-se ainda nas particularidades que o turismo nos oferece, estando ele enquadrado no contexto do desenvolvimento local sustentável, ao passo que estabelece uma relação paralela com a gestão do património de um território. Desenvolvido numa perspetiva de estudo de caso, a investigação suportou a realização de um inquérito por questionário, aplicado à população de Baião, tomando como ponto de partida a análise de possíveis contribuições para o desenvolvimento local sustentado. Os resultados revelaram que o território em análise ostenta potencialidades notáveis, tanto no que se refere aos valores patrimoniais como aos valores culturais, sendo que o enriquecem e o particularizam como concelho. A metodologia adotada permitiu auferir dados, em linha com os eixos temáticos da investigação, que nos deram conta das opiniões dos seus habitantes relativamente à forma como compreendem o património patenteado pelo município e sobre as atividades de intervenção aí desenvolvidas no âmbito cultural, perspetivando melhorias. Tomando a promoção de mudanças sistémicas como sendo o sustento desta abordagem, espera-se que o produto desta investigação opere como estímulo ao aprimoramento dos Programas Municipais de Cultura e Turismo vindouros, na autarquia de Baião.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThroughout this dissertation we intend to explore the concept of heritage and to understand it as an identity factor of a community, highlighting the importance of its preservation, enhancement and promotion. The literature review also focuses on the particularities that tourism offers us, and is framed in the context of sustainable local development, while establishing a parallel relationship with the heritage management of a territory. Developed from a case study perspective, the research supported the conduct of a questionnaire survey, applied to the population of Baião, taking as a starting point the analysis of possible contributions to sustainable local development. The results revealed that the territory under analysis has remarkable potentialities, both in terms of heritage values and cultural values, enriching and particularizing it as a county. The methodology adopted allowed us to obtain data, in line with the thematic axes of the research, which informed us of the opinions of its inhabitants regarding the way they understand the patented heritage of the municipality and the intervention activities developed there in the cultural field, with a view to improving them. Taking the promotion of systemic changes as the support of this approach, it is expected that the product of this investigation will act as a stimulus for the improvement of the Municipal Culture and Tourism Programs coming, in the municipality of Baião.pt_PT
