A morte de uma criança pelos seus próprios pais ou a morte dos pais pelos seus filhos, é uma questão difícil de abordar. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender e analisar as representações sociais que os indivíduos com responsabilidades parentais têm sobre o Infanticídio.
O Infanticídio é o ato de um ou ambos os pais matarem os seus filhos, envolve inúmeras situações que influenciam ao seu aparecimento, nomeadamente negligência, abuso, praticas educativas disfuncionais e doenças do foro psicológico
As representações sociais apresentam-se como uma maneira de interpretar e pensar a realidade quotidiana, uma forma de atividade do conhecimento mental desenvolvida pelos sujeitos, para fixar as suas posições em relação às situações. A representação social é um conhecimento prático, que dá sentido aos eventos que são normais no dia a dia.
Este projeto pretende compreender e analisar as Representações Sociais do Infanticídio, a partir de uma amostra de indivíduos residentes na freguesia de São José, Viseu. Neste sentido, recorreu-se a uma abordagem quantitativa.
A proposta para a recolha de dados, baseia-se na aplicação de um inquérito por questionário e a analíse na utilização através do programa estatístico SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).
Uma vez que se trata de uma proposta de investigação, os resultados apresentados foram baseados nos pressupostos teóricos encontrados na literatura, relativos ao tema em análise.
The death of a child by parents or the death of parents for their children, is a difficult issue to address. The present work aims to understand and analyze the social representations that individuals with parental responsibilities have on Infanticide. The Infanticide is the act of one or both parents kill their children, involves numerous situations that influence its appearance, including neglect, abuse, dysfunctional educational practices and psychological disorders Social representations are presented as a way of interpreting and thinking everyday reality, a form of mental activity of knowledge developed by individuals to v secure their positions in relation to situations. A social representation is a knowledge that gives meaning to the events that are normal in everyday life. This project aims to understand and analyze the social representations of infanticide, from a sample of individuals residing in the parish of São José, Viseu. In this sense, we used a quantitative approach. The proposal for the collection of data is based on the application of a questionnaire survey and analysis through the use of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Since this is a research proposal, the results were based on theoretical assumptions found in the literature relating to the topic under consideration Keyword: Infanticide, filicide, Matricide, Social Representation.
