RESUMO
A Escola tem, na actualidade, um papel fundamental na promoção do
desenvolvimento integral dos jovens, que lhe é conferido pelas finalidades a que se
propõe e pelo papel dos seus agentes educativos. De acordo com o Despacho n.º
19737/2005, de 15 de Junho, esta instituição é, nesta perspectiva, nomeadamente
responsável por educar para a Sexualidade e para a Saúde com o objectivo de
prevenir comportamentos de risco. Este foi, pois, o contexto escolhido para a proposta
de desenvolvimento de um Projecto de Acção a ser implementado em colaboração
com o PES (Projecto de Educação para a Saúde), num estabelecimento de ensino na
zona norte do país. Os seus objectivos são a sensibilização contra a violência no
namoro e a apresentação de um programa de prevenção que simultaneamente
sensibilize para a problemática, avalie as crenças dos jovens e eduque para os
afectos. Apresentar-se-á neste trabalho, de forma sustentada por um diagnóstico de
necessidades empírico, um programa de intervenção de natureza socioeducativa que
se propõe a promover o desenvolvimento de competências pessoais e sociais, nos
jovens, de modo a capacitar para escolhas informadas na sua sexualidade, permitindo
assim que se sintam seguros nas suas opções.
ABSTRACT School has, at present, a very important role in promoting teenagers’ integral development, which is given by its goals and by its educative agents’ roles. According to the Order nr. 19737/2005, 15th June, this institution is, according this perspective, responsible for the educations to the sexuality and health, in order to prevent risk behaviors. This was the context chosen to propose the development of an action project to be implemented with the PES (Project to the Health Education) collaboration, in a educational establishment in the north zone of the country. Its objectives are to sensitize against dating violence and present a prevention program that evaluates teenagers’ beliefs and educates for the affections. This work is supported by an empirical diagnosis of needs and will present a program of socio-intervention to promote the development of personal and social skills in young people to enable them for informed choices in their sexuality, so that they feel informed and insured of their choices.
