| dc.description.abstract | Garantir a efetivação dos direitos das crianças/jovens é um dever comummente aceite e socialmente reconhecido. Promover e proteger tais direitos é lutar contra todas as formas de maus tratos e depende da união e colaboração dos cidadãos e entidades públicas ou privadas. A existência das CPCJ e, em particular, das suas equipas multidisciplinares, revela-se essencial para a consecução desse objetivo, só possível através dos recursos que disponibilizam á sociedade. Todavia, se estes se revelarem insuficientes para uma rápida e eficaz intervenção, os direitos das crianças/jovens podem encontrar-se comprometidos. Para aferir os fatores promotores e inibidores percecionados pelos técnicos das comissões na intervenção, realizou-se uma investigação qualitativa, com recurso a um questionário construído especificamente para este estudo que permitisse conhecer a sua opinião neste âmbito. Participaram 15 elementos, maioritariamente do sexo feminino (93%), de várias Comissões do país. Dos dados emergentes, exalta-se o "poder fazer" relacionado com os recursos e respostas disponíveis, que se constatou que nem sempre se coadunam, aliado ao "saber fazer", exigindo o conhecimento dos procedimentos em cada caso especifico, para os técnicos poderem alterar situações problemáticas. Denunciar e acompanhar as situações que as coloquem em risco/perigo, é tão importante como dispor dos recursos eficazes para atuar precocemente. Fortalecer e assegurar os recursos necessários ao trabalho das comissões e, dos seus técnicos, bem como conhecer os fatores promotores e inibidores que sentem no exercício das suas funções é fundamental e contribuirá para prevenir a continuidade de situações de risco/perigo e, por conseguinte, diminuir as repercussões no desenvolvimento infantojuvenil. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Ensure the achievement of the rights of children/young people is a duty commonly accepted and socially recognized. Promote and protect such rights is to fight against all forms of abuse and depends on the unity and collaboration of citizens and public or private entities. The existence of CPCJ and, in particular, its multidisciplinary teams, is essential to achieve this goal, only possible through the resources that they deliver to the society. However, if these are insufficient for rapid and effective intervention, children/young people rights are compromised. To assess inhibiting and promoting factors faced by CPCJ professionals in the intervention, we developed a qualitative research, using a questionnaire, specifically prepared for this study. Fifteen participants were included, mainly women (93%), from several Portuguese CPCJ. Emerging data exalts the "can do " related to the available resources, although it was found that were not always in line, allied with the " know-how", requiring knowledge of the procedures in each specific case, in order to the professionals can change problematic situations. Report and intervene in situations that put children/youngsters at risk/danger, its as important as have the effective resources to act early. Strengthen and ensure the resources necessary for the work of the CPCJ and, of their professionals as well as knowing the inhibiting and promoting factors they feel in the exercise of their duties, it is crucial and will help to prevent situations of risk/danger and, therefore, reduce the impact on the children's/youth's development. | pt_PT |
