Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como principal propósito perspectivar a Educação Pela
Arte, de modo a analisar a pertinência do Clube de Artes, como desenvolvimento
integral, promotor das competências da Educação Artística ao nível do 2º e 3º Ciclos
do Ensino Básico como uma mais-valia para o enriquecimento artístico na formação
do aluno e no desenvolvimento da Expressão e Educação Plástico – Artística.
Com esta finalidade, desenhou-se uma investigação qualitativa, tipo estudo de
caso, com uma amostra constituída por 24 sujeitos, do 5º ao 9ºano de escolaridade do
Ensino Básico. Dos instrumentos utilizados para a recolha de dados, destacam-se
uma grelha de observação e uma entrevista semi-estruturada.
Os resultados obtidos permitem conhecer as opiniões e as motivações que
levam os alunos a frequentar este clube, entre outras, o reconhecimento do clube de
artes como um espaço de aprendizagem pela via da liberdade de acção e expressão,
assim como, um território de prazer, capaz de proporcionar uma ambiência afectiva,
espontânea e auto-expressiva. Permitem igualmente tecer algumas analogias com o
Ensino Artístico e com o desenvolvimento de competências específicas dos três eixos
estruturantes do domínio da Educação Plástica e Educação Visual, a saber: fruiçãocontemplação,
produção-criação e reflexão-interpretação, contribuindo para a
formação global e integral do aluno.
The current study aims to perceive Education through Art, in order to analyze the relevance of the Arts Club both as vital development in promoting the Arts Education skills at the 2nd and 3rd cycles of basic education and as an added value to the artistic enhancement in the students‟ educational process and in the development of Artistic Plastic Expression and Education. Bearing in mind this purpose, a qualitative research was developed based on a case-study layout in which it was considered a sample of 24 individuals from 5th to 9th grade of basic school. From all the instruments and methodologies used for collecting data, the observation grid and the semi-structured interview were the most relevant. The results allow to understand the opinions and motivations that lead students to attend this club, as for example the recognition of the Arts Club as a place of learning through the freedom of action and expression, as well as a space of pleasure able to provide an emotional, spontaneous and self-expressive ambience. It is also possible to make some similarities with the Artistic Education and the specific skills development of the three main pillars in the field of Plastic and Visual Education, namely: enjoyment-contemplation, production-creation and reflection-interpretation, contributing to the student‟s overall formation.
