Enquadramento: A violĂȘncia no namoro na adolescĂȘncia Ă© um problema social
relevante, quer pela sua prevalĂȘncia e consequĂȘncias ao nĂvel da saĂșde fĂsica e mental,
quer porque ocorre numa fase da vida onde os relacionamentos amorosos se estĂŁo iniciar e
os padrÔes de relacionamento estão ainda a ser apreendidos, podendo passar para a fase
adulta.
Objetivos: Determinar a prevalĂȘncia e os tipos de violĂȘncia no namoro; analisar o
efeito das variĂĄveis sociodemogrĂĄficas, de contexto familiar, contextuais a maus tratos e de
consumos aditivos sobre a violĂȘncia no namoro.
Metodologia: Estudo quantitativo nĂŁo experimental, com um design transversal e
descritivo-correlacional numa amostra constituĂda por 72 adolescentes (idade xÌ
=15.72;
Dp=1.38) admitidos no internamento de Pedopsiquiatra. A recolha de dados inclui
questionårio de caracterização sociodemogråfica e o Inventårio de Conflitos nas RelaçÔes
de Namoro entre Adolescentes.
Resultados: Verificou-se que 94,4% dos jovens apresentam estratégais de
resolução de conflitos abusivas nas suas relaçoes de namoro. O tipo de violĂȘncia mais
praticado Ă© a violĂȘncia verbal com 90,3% como perpetração e 95.8% como vitimização,
secundada pela violĂȘncia psicolĂłgica com 75% na prepertação e 80.6% na dimensĂŁo de
vitimização.
ConclusĂŁo: A violĂȘncia no namoro estĂĄ associada Ă s variaveis sociodemogrĂĄficas:
sexo, residĂȘncia e coabitação; contextuais a maus tratos: violĂȘncia conjugal na famĂlia e de
consumos aditivos: ĂĄlcool e drogas.

Abstract Background: Dating violence in adolescence is a relevant social problem, both because of its prevalence and consequences in terms of physical and mental health and because it occurs in a stage of life where dating relationships are beginning and relationship patterns are still being grasped and this may lead to pass into adulthood. Objectives: To determine the prevalence and types of dating violence; to analyze the effect of sociodemography, of family context, analyzing the variables of mistreating and addictive consumption on dating violence. Methodology: A non-experimental quantitative study with a cross-sectional and descriptive-co relational design in a sample of 72 adolescents patients in a psychiatric hospital (age x = 15.72; Dp = 1.38). Data collection includes a sociodemographic characterization questionnaire and an inventory of Conflicts in Dating Relationships among Adolescents. Results: It was found that 94.4% of the adolescents have abusive strategies for solving conflicts in their dating relationships. The most prevalent type of violence is verbal violence with 90.3% as a perpetration and 95.8% as victimization, followed by psychological violence with 75% as a perpetration and 80.6% in the victimization dimension. Conclusion: Dating violence is associated with sociodemographic variables: sex, residence and cohabitation; Contextual to mistreatment: marital violence in the family and addictive consumption: alcohol and drugs.
