Abstract(s)
o real impacto desta síndrome nesta classe profissional.
quantitativa, no qual participaram 117 EEER, maioritariamente do sexo feminino (76,9%),
laboral.
propensas a burnout.
promoção do bem-estar laboral destes sujeitos.

ABSTRACT Introduction: In Portugal, studies taking into account the incidence of burnout in nurses Nursing Specialists Rehabilitation (NNSR) are still scarce, a fact which reinforces the need for further investigations in order to be able to understand the real impact of this syndrome in this professional. Objective: In this context, this study aimed to determine the occurrence of burnout in NNSR and determine the associations between the different domains of burnout and sociodemographic aspects, and psychosocial work the same. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational, quantitative, attended by 117 NNSR, mostly female (76.9%), with a mean age of 41.68 years and that carry out functions in various national health institutions. To measure the variables we used the following instruments, calibrated and validated for the Portuguese population: Scale MBI-GS, General Labor Satisfaction Scale, Scale My Health Locus of Control Scale Levenson's Self- Esteem Scale and the Global Adult. It also appealed to a plug sociodemographic and labor. Results: With regard to levels of burnout in NNSR conclude that men have higher rates in the dimensions "physical and emotional exhaustion" and "cynicism" in relation to women, the dimension "professional effectiveness" are women who are more prone to burnout. The data reveal that there are significant influences of variable working "time professional in the art." Are obtained also for any significant influences of the psychosocial variables: locus control and self-esteem. Conclusion: The evidence from this study invite us to prepare and reflect on new strategies that allow to obtain a better understanding to facilitate the design of intervention programs training and information aimed at promoting labor welfare of these subjects. Keywords: burnout, NNSR, Locus of Control, Self-Esteem
