| dc.description.abstract | A partir do significado de «sacrifício», pretende-se demonstrar a importância do sacrifício na experiência religiosa e sustentar a tese de que a prática de sacrifício sempre foi «extraordinária» (não conforme o comum) e funciona como uma forma privilegiada de comunicação e intercessão com o sagrado. Na experiência religiosa, o promitente opta pela prática sacrificial como momento e ato demonstrativos de entrega radical à causa e à fé religiosas. Segue-se uma abordagem teórica e conceptual com o objetivo de compreender os efeitos pragmáticos do sacrifício no cimentar da fé e da experiência religiosa. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Starting from the meaning of «sacrifice», this article demonstrates the importance of sacrifice in the religious experience and supports the thesis that the practice of sacrifice has always been «extra-ordinary» (beyond what is usual; highly exceptional) and functions as a privileged form of communication and intercession with the sacred. In the religious experience, the promisor opts for the sacrificial practice as a demonstrative moment and act of radical surrender to the religious cause and faith. This article follows a theoretical and conceptual approach. The objective is to argue the pragmatic effects of sacrifice in cementing faith and religious experience. | pt_PT |
