Enquadramento: No âmbito da Unidade curricular, Estágio com relatório final:
Enfermagem de Saúde Materna, Obstetrícia e Ginecologia – opção 3, foi elaborado o
presente relatório. Este é composto pela componente clínica e a componente de
investigação. A componente clínica pretende espelhar o percurso formativo desenvolvido
ao longo de todo estágio nas diferentes áreas de atuação, refletindo sobre as intervenções
planeadas e executadas que contribuíram para a aquisição de competências comuns e
especializadas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e
Obstétrica. A componente de investigação explana o processo de execução da revisão
scoping intitulada: “Conhecimento das mulheres sobre posições de parto: uma revisão
scoping”. Este trabalho de investigação surgiu da reflexão crítica da prática clínica
vivenciada.
Objetivos: Evidenciar o processo de desenvolvimento de competências comuns e
especializadas em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica. Na componente da
investigação, pretendemos mapear a evidência científica em relação aos conhecimentos
das mulheres sobre posições que podem adotar no trabalho de parto e parto.
Metodologia: Na construção deste relatório, a parte clínica baseia-se numa reflexão
teórica-crítica das atividades desenvolvidas e das evidências científicas disponíveis
sustentadas num pensamento teórico de enfermagem (teoria das transições de Meleis). A
revisão scoping foi desenvolvida segundo a metodologia proposta pelo Instituto Joanna
Briggs para a realização deste tipo de revisões.
Resultados: O desenvolvimento prático das diferentes áreas de estágio distintas e a
reflexão teórica e crítica das mesmas, possibilitou a aquisição de competências comuns e
específicas inerentes ao exercício profissional do Enfermeiro Especialista em
Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, bem como o cumprimento das experiências
mínimas legalmente exigidas. O desenvolvimento do estudo de investigação,
nomeadamente de uma revisão scoping permitiu desenvolver capacidades a nível de
investigação e clarificou que várias mulheres em diferentes contextos, tem poucos
conhecimentos sobre posições verticais que podem adotar no parto.
Conclusões: Através da realização deste relatório final evidenciou-se o processo de
desenvolvimento e aquisição de competências comuns e específicas regulamentadas para
o Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, conducentes
à atribuição do título profissional de Enfermeiro Especialista e ao grau de Mestre.
Relativamente à componente de investigação conclui-se que muitas mulheres, mesmo as
que possuem partos anteriores, e/ou que têm acompanhamento profissional durante a
gravidez, têm défices de conhecimentos em relação as posições que podem adotar durante
o primeiro e segundo estádio do trabalho de parto. Pelo que emerge a necessidade de
incorporar na assistência pré-natal nomeadamente na preparação para o parto, a
abordagem teórica e prática das diversas posições que a grávida pode adotar nas diferentes
fases de trabalho de parto. Surge também a necessidade da formação/ atualização de
conhecimentos dos profissionais que assistem a mulher durante a gravidez e durante o
trabalho de parto, sobre as diversas posições maternas ao longo do trabalho parto,
tornando-se um agente facilitador.

Abstract Background: Within the scope of the curricular unit, Internship with final report: Maternal Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology – option 3, this report was prepared. This consists of the clinical component and the research component. The clinical component aims to mirror the training path developed throughout the internship in the different areas of activity, reflecting on the planned and executed interventions that contributed to the acquisition of common and specialized skills of the Nurse Specialist in Maternal Health and Obstetric Nursing. The research component explains the process of carrying out the scoping review entitled: “Women's knowledge about birth positions: a scoping review”. This research work arose from critical reflection on experienced clinical practice. Objectives: Evide the process of developing common and specialized skills in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing. In the research component, we aim to map scientific evidence regarding women’s knowledge of positions they can adopt in labor and delivery. Methodology: In the construction of this report, the clinical part is based on a theoretical critical reflection of the developed activities and the available scientific evidence in a theoretical thinking of nursing (theory of Meleis transitions). The scoping review was developed according to the proposed methodology by the Joanna Briggs Institute for the achievement of this type of reviews. Results: Practical development of different distinct stage areas and theoretical and critical reflection of them, made it possible for the acquisition of common and specific skills inherent in the professional exercise of the Maternal and Obstetric Nursing Nurse Specialist, as well as compliance with the legally required minimal experiences . The development of the research study, notably a scoping review allowed to develop abilities at the research level and clarified that several women in different contexts, has little knowledge about vertical positions they can adopt in the delivery. Conclusions: Through the realization of this final report was evidenced the process of developing and acquiring common and specific skills regulated for the Nurse Specialist in Maternal and Obstetrical Health Nursing, conducive to the assignment of the professional title of Nurse Specialist and the degree of Master. Regarding the research component it is concluded that many women, even those with previous births, and/or who have professional follow-up during pregnancy, have knowledge deficits regarding positions they can adopt during the first and second stage of work of delivery. From what emerges the need to incorporate in prenatal assistance namely in delivery preparation, the theoretical and practical approach of the various positions that pregnant pregnant can adopt in different labor stages. It also appears the need for training/updating knowledge of professionals who watch woman during pregnancy and during labor, on the various maternal positions along labor, becoming a facilitating agent.
