Serão consideradas as variáveis demográficas e
a variável representação social do consumo de álcool nos jovens.
ABSTRACT Currently, both in developed countries as in developing countries, the use of alcoholic beverages tends to be a social problem and, for some, already considered endemic. Associated with consumption, are a series of adverse consequences to society, of which alcoholism is only one element with greater emphasis and visibility, social, economic, health and education. If sometimes the social and cultural circumstances promote consumption, second, develop stigmatizing attitudes. Very early, drink a beer with friends is viewed as a social act valid and already part of the routines of young adolescents and rituals in their entry into adulthood. With the completion of this research project, whose theme is "Social representation of alcohol consumption in youth," aims to study the social representations in relation to alcohol consumption among young people (false concepts, level of knowledge about the push factors, beliefs, surveillance, prevention, age, gender influences and consumer) of the general population. Taking into account the main objective of the project, first proceeded to construct an instrument to collect data that we have designated Questionnaire (Scale Representations of Alcohol Consumption in Young People) and it made for some interviews (n = 6 ), the population of the District of Viseu, in order to realize their representations and opinions about alcohol consumption among young people. Content analysis of interviews resulted in 11 categories. The indicators for the achievement of each category of the questionnaire were constructed based on the analysis of interviews and an extensive literature review, a total of 20 indicators which were our questionnaire. The selection of the sample elements of our study will be made in the population that accesses the Internet, totaling no less than 200 subjects. Will be considered the demographic variables and the variable representation of the social consumption of alcohol by young people.
