Abstract(s)
As CPCJ são entidades não judiciais que desempenham um papel crucial na promoção de direitos e proteção das crianças e jovens do nosso país. As suas competências estão fundamentadas na Lei 147/99, de 1 de setembro que, nas suas sucessivas revisões, rege como e quando deve ser realizada a intervenção, com vista à promoção e proteção. As problemáticas do quotidiano que levam as famílias a serem apoiadas pelas CPCJ têm diversas origens e, na maioria das vezes, são transversais ao sistema familiar. Neste âmbito, é necessário compreender o conceito de família enquanto grupo, como também enquanto conjunto de pessoas, para além dos fatores de risco e situações de perigo que justificam a intervenção das CPCJ. Assim sendo, ao longo do relatório é possível perceber quais foram os pontos positivos e menos positivos da intervenção, enquanto técnica de intervenção psicossocial com crianças e jovens em risco, como também os maiores desafios sentidos na intervenção realizada pela CPCJ.
The Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People are non-judicial entities with a crucial role in the promotion of rights and protection of children and young people in our country. Their current legal framework is established by Law 147/99, from the 1st september, which, in its successive revisions, governs how and when must happen an intervention with a view to promotion and protection. The daily problems that force families to be supported by the Commission have different origins and, in most cases, are transversal to the family system. In this context, it is necessary to understand the concept of family as a group, as well as a group of people, in addition, the risk factors and dangerous situations that justify the intervention of the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People. Therefore, it’s perceived throughout the report, the positive and less positive points of the intervention, as a professional of psychosocial intervention with children and young people at risk, as well as the biggest challenges in the intervention carried out by the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People.
