| dc.description.abstract | Introdução: O presente relatório apresenta o percurso formativo desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem da pessoa em situação crítica, realçando a aprendizagem adquirida durante o meu percurso nos estágios em serviço de urgência e unidade de cuidados intensivos, mas também, a componente de investigação. Estas vivências e estes contextos foram cruciais e fundamentais para o desenvolvimento das competências pessoais, científicas, técnicas e comunicacionais. Competências estas, que são parte integrante e essencial, para a realização de uma boa prática de enfermagem, baseada na evidência. Objetivo: Realizar uma análise crítica acerca dos estágios realizados, salientando o desenvolvimento de competências, e analisar a evidência científica sobre a aplicação do colar cervical não como uma intervenção independente, mas como um dos elementos potencias numa sequência mais geral de tratamento de traumatismos a ser aplicada após a identificação e revisão contínua das características de risco num doente em situação crítica mediante a elaboração de uma scoping review para rastrear o conhecimento existente e identificar lacunas. Metodologia: O relatório encontra-se estruturado em duas partes. A primeira parte traduz-se numa análise reflexiva das atividades realizadas durante os estágios com base nas competências do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica. A segunda parte descreve a componente de investigação, centrada na elaboração de uma scoping review, seguindo as recomendações metodológicas conhecidas e será relatada de acordo com o PRISMA-ScR. Resultados: Os estágios facultaram a consolidação das competências técnicas, científicas e comunicacionais. A componente de investigação aprofundou capacidades de análise crítica e pesquisa científica sobre as recomendações para o uso do colar cervical através de uma scoping review. Conclusão: A prática clínica especializada na Área da Enfermagem permite o desenvolvimento de competências. O Enfermeiro Especialista deve possuir um nível de conhecimentos específicos para fazer face às situações com grande complexidade e dar a melhor resposta às necessidades dos utentes. A scoping review contribui para a prática baseada na evidência, s sistematizando o conhecimento sobre a recomendação do uso de colar cervical na restrição do movimento da coluna vertebral (SMR) no pré-hospitalar. | dc.description.abstract | Abstract Introduction: This report presents the training path developed within the scope of the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Nursing for the critically ill, highlighting the learning acquired during my internships in the emergency department and intensive care unit, as well as the research component. These experiences and contexts were crucial and fundamental for the development of personal, scientific, technical, and communication skills. These skills are an integral and essential part of good, evidence-based nursing practice. Objective: To conduct a critical analysis of the internships carried out, highlighting the development of skills, and to analyze the scientific evidence on the application of the cervical collar not as an independent intervention, but as one of the potential elements in a more general sequence of trauma treatment to be applied after the identification and continuous review of risk characteristics in a critically ill patient through the elaboration of a scoping review to track existing knowledge and identify gaps. Methodology: The report is structured in two parts. The first part translates into a reflective analysis of the activities carried out during the internships based on the competencies of the specialist nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing. The second part describes the research component, focused on the elaboration of a scoping review, following known methodological recommendations and will be reported according to PRISMA-ScR. Results: The internships allowed the consolidation of technical, scientific, and communication skills. The research component deepened the abilities of critical analysis and scientific research on the recommendations for the use of the cervical collar through a scoping review. Conclusion: Specialized clinical practice in the Nursing Area allows the development of competencies. The Specialist Nurse must have a specific level of knowledge to face situations with great complexity and give the best response to the needs of users. The scoping review contributes to evidence-based practice, systematizing 11 knowledge about the recommendation of the use of a cervical collar in spinal motion restriction (SMR) in the pre-hospital setting.
