Abstract(s)
A tradução dos dados em informação verdadeiramente útil, em que os indicadores chave
de desempenho são o melhor exemplo, é cada vez mais uma necessidade e de uma forma
geral é um processo em amplo desenvolvimento em diversas áreas, seja na política, economia
ou até mesmo no futebol com inúmeros indicadores a surgirem no vocabulário do dia-a-dia.
Nas empresas, a sua importância é preponderante para o seu sucesso. Nos processos
atuais são geradas enormes quantidades de dados que necessariamente têm que servir, em
última análise, para a tomada de decisões.
Em simultâneo, é notável o papel crescente da área de manutenção no seio das
organizações, sobretudo industriais, com necessidade de sistemas de informação adaptados às
suas necessidades específicas, que surgem cada vez mais de forma numerosa e acessível.
Estes sistemas de informação necessitam uma seleção e padronização de indicadores de
performance, utilizando algumas normas existentes a nível nacional e internacional.
É neste contexto, de uma evolução da manutenção, das novas tecnologias aplicadas à
gestão de dados, que surge este projeto, como um contributo da aplicação prática e real, com o
fator acrescido da transição do mundo académico, com novas metodologias, para a realidade
das organizações industriais.
ABSTRACT: In the process of translation data into truly useful information, the key performance indicators are the best example, they are becoming a necessity and in general is a process in great development in various areas, whether in politics, economics or even in football with numerous indicators appear in the vocabulary of the day-to-day. In business, their importance is leading to success business. In the current processes are generated big amounts of data that necessarily have to serve, ultimately, to make decisions. At the same time, it is remarkable the growing role of maintenance area within organizations, especially industrial, requiring adapted information systems ace their specific needs, which appear increasingly large and easily ways, as well as a beginning of the selection and standardization of some performance indicators, with some rules already existing national and international. In this context, with the evolution of maintenance, new technologies applied will data management, which arises this project as a contribution of practical and real application, with the plus factor of the transition from the academic world, with new methods to reality industrial organizations.
