Abstract(s)
Introdução: No seu quotidiano profissional, os enfermeiros depararam-se com a necessidade
de realizar o transporte inter-hospitalar da pessoa em situação crítica, estes têm de estar
preparados para certificar a segurança do doente durante todas as fases do transporte e
prestar-lhe cuidados de qualidade.
Objetivo: Verificar quais as estratégias para a operacionalização das transferências interhospitalares
urgentes da pessoa em situação crítica no setor público empresarial com
assistência de enfermeiro.
Métodos: Estudo quantitativo, descritivo-correlacional, com foco transversal. Numa amostra
constituída por 421 enfermeiros. Aplicado como instrumento de recolha de dados um
questionário ad hoc.
Resultados: Os resultados revelam que, na sua prática profissional, nos últimos doze meses,
69,1% dos enfermeiros efetuou transferências inter-hospitalares urgentes, 58,1% referiram
que nem todos os enfermeiros da equipa realizam as transferências; 56,1% enfermeiros
indicaram que a equipa ficou sempre com o número de enfermeiros mínimo a assegurar a
prestação dos cuidados, enquanto 43,9% referiram que nem sempre; 39,9% dos enfermeiros
utilizaram muito frequentemente, o score de avaliação de risco para as transferências interhospitalares
urgentes, com 23,5% a relatarem que nunca foi realizada esta avaliação.
Segundo 25,4% enfermeiros, na transição de cuidados, nunca foi utilizada a técnica de
comunicação ISBAR; para 80,0% as transferências inter-hospitalares não são
operacionalizadas por uma equipa do Hospital/Centro Hospitalar constituída exclusivamente
para esse efeito; 76,7% sentem necessidade de formação especializada na área das
transferências inter-hospitalares da pessoa em situação crítica.
Conclusão: Ficou demonstrado que não existe uma uniformidade para operacionalizar as
transferências inter-hospitalares.

Objective: To verify which are the strategies for the operationalization of urgent inter-hospital transfers in the public business sector with nurse assistance. Methods: Quantitative, descriptive-correlational study with a cross-sectional focus. In a sample composed of 421 nurses. An ad hoc questionnaire was applied as data collection instrument. Results: The results reveal that, in their professional practice, in the last twelve months, 69.1% of the nurses performed urgent inter-hospital transfers, 58.1% reported that not all nurses of the team perform the transfers; 56.1% of the nurses, in the last twelve months, indicated that the team always had the minimum number of nurses to ensure the provision of care, while 43.9% reported that was not; 39.9% of the nurses used very often, the risk assessment score for urgent inter-hospital transfers, with 23.5% reporting that this assessment was never performed.
