Abstract(s)
ambiental e a educação ambiental numa escola do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. O
This work reflects the formative path of the Master in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education (CEB) of Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, where I had the opportunity to have a deeper view on the different contexts of practice, at an early stage in the context of the 1st CEB, and in the second and last year under the 2nd CEB. It also presents a research work related to environmental health and environmental education in a school of the 1st cycle of basic education. The work is part of the Eco-Sensors4Health project (Eco-Sensors in Health Promotion: Supporting Children in Setting Up Eco-Friendly Schools). The Eco-Sensors4Health project (LISBOA-01-0145- FEDER-023235) is co-financed by the ERDF (PORTUGAL2020) and the Portuguese State Budget (FCT). The work developed sought to make children aware of environmental health problems in their schools, in case of thermal comfort problems, and to develop communication strategies to propose improvement interventions in their school space. Focusing on a transdisciplinary approach that called for subjects such as Environmental Studies, Mathematics and Portuguese and using technology and sensors, the children monitored thermal comfort indicators in their school, represented these data and proposed improvement actions using transmedia communication.
