Abstract(s)
A presente investigação foi desenvolvida no âmbito das unidades curriculares de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, que integram o plano de estudos do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º CEB e Português e História e Geografia de Portugal no 2.º CEB. Tem por objetivo compreender de que modo a literatura de tradição oral pode potencializar o conhecimento histórico e literário junto de alunos do 5.º ano de escolaridade, sendo que para isso, promovemos uma metodologia de trabalho interdisciplinar entre as áreas de Português e de História e Geografia de Portugal, onde desenvolvemos, em conjunto com os alunos, um leque de atividades de ensinoaprendizagem baseadas na obra Expressões com História de Alice Vieira. Em termos empíricos, a investigação recorreu a uma metodologia de caráter misto, cruzando os dados estatísticos recolhidos através da aplicação de dois inquéritos por questionário a uma turma do 5.º ano de escolaridade, com os dados descritivos, obtidos por meio das observações participantes, nomeadamente das notas de campo recolhidas e pelos diários de bordo construídos pelos alunos. Os dados obtidos permitiram concluir que, de forma geral, a utilização da literatura de tradição oral, enquanto recurso didático, pode potencializar o conhecimento histórico e literário em alunos do 5.º ano de escolaridade, tanto nas aulas de Português, como nas aulas de História e Geografia de Portugal. Referimos ainda, que o trabalho interdisciplinar desenvolvido, através da obra Expressões com História, cativou os alunos, que demonstraram um maior grau de motivação e interesse perante as duas áreas disciplinares.
The present investigation was developed within the scope of the curricular units of Supervised Teaching Practice, which are part of the study plan of the Master's in Teaching at the 1st cycle of basic education and Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal at the 2nd cycle of basic education. This aims to understand how literature of oral tradition can enhance historical and literary knowledge among students of the 5th year of schooling, and for this, we promoted an interdisciplinary work methodology between the areas of Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal, where we developed, together with the students, a range of teaching-learning activities based on the book Expressões com História, de Alice Vieira. In empirical terms, the research used a mixed methodology, crossing the statistical data collected through the application of two questionnaire surveys to a 5th grade class, with the descriptive data, obtained through participant observation, namely, the field notes collected and the logbooks built by the students. The data obtained allowed us to conclude that, in general, the use of oral tradition literature as a didactic resource can enhance historical and literary knowledge in 5 th grade students, both in Portuguese and in History and Geography of Portugal classes. We also mention that the interdisciplinary work developed through the book Expressões com História captivated the students, who showed a higher degree of motivation and interest in both subject areas.
