O mercado crescente da indústria da cortiça evolui com produtos inovadores que respondem
às necessidades dos clientes, e por sua vez, as organizações esforçam-se para oferecer as
melhores soluções com uma maior rentabilidade.
O objetivo principal do trabalho foi a implementação da metodologia de Análise de Valor a um
produto específico na empresa Amorim Cork Flooring, concretamente no desenvolvimento de
pavimentos de cortiça com um novo acabamento final mais sustentável, criando mais valor
para o produto, reduzindo custos, tempos e desperdícios. Desta maneira optou-se por aplicar
esta análise ao Hydrocork pela necessidade de o alterar, a fim de permitir a inclusão de
materiais ambientalmente sustentáveis e a remoção do PVC da sua composição.
Com a Análise de Valor, procura-se aprimorar as características do produto, tornando-o mais
eficiente, durável, seguro e com melhor desempenho. Simultaneamente, as modificações
propostas direcionam o produto para uma abordagem mais sustentável, alinhando-o com a
procura do mercado e as preocupações ambientais atuais.
A implementação dos princípios Lean pode estabelecer uma base sólida para a aplicação da
Análise de Valor, uma vez que a redução de desperdícios desempenha um papel fundamental
na maximização do valor. Adicionalmente, a Análise de Valor pode aprofundar ainda mais a
análise dos processos Lean, identificando áreas específicas de melhoria que, de outra forma,
poderiam passar despercebidas.
A aplicação prática da metodologia de Análise de Valor na Amorim Cork Flooring foi bem
sucedida resultando em melhorias na qualidade, eficiência e custos do produto em estudo. A
equipa envolvida demonstrou um entendimento profundo das necessidades dos clientes e
uma abordagem mais crítica na avaliação das características de valor. A metodologia de
Análise de Valor demonstrou o seu potencial na melhoria dos produtos, alinhados com as
necessidades do mercado e da empresa e orientados para a maximização do valor.
ABSTRACT: The growing cork industry market evolves with innovative products that meet customer needs, and in turn, organizations strive to offer the best solutions with higher profitability. The main goal of the project was the implementation of the Value Analysis methodology for a specific product in Amorim Cork Flooring company, specifically in the development of cork flooring with a more sustainable final finish, creating more value for the product, reducing costs, lead times, and waste. In this way, it was chosen to apply this analysis to Hydrocork due to the need to alter it to allow the inclusion of environmentally sustainable materials and the removal of PVC from its composition. With Value Analysis, the aim is to enhance the product's characteristics, making it more efficient, durable, safe, and high performing. Simultaneously, the proposed modifications steer the product towards a more sustainable approach, aligning it with current market demand and environmental concerns. The implementation of Lean principles can establish a solid foundation for the application of Value Analysis since waste reduction plays a fundamental role in maximizing value. Additionally, Value Analysis can further delve into the analysis of Lean processes, identifying specific areas for improvement that might otherwise go unnoticed. The practical application of the Value Analysis methodology at Amorim Cork Flooring was successful, resulting in improvements in the quality, efficiency, and costs of the product under study. The team involved demonstrated a deep understanding of customer needs and a more critical approach to evaluating value characteristics. The Value Analysis methodology has shown its potential in improving products aligned with market and company needs and oriented towards value maximization.
