Abstract(s)
It is becoming more and more frequent today to watch news stories about young people who commit crimes, especially in the media. Making the problem of juvenile delinquency very identified and little known, this is because in addition to being a concept of behavioral order, several sciences try to find an explanatory theory for this type of behavior, so the concept of juvenile delinquency does not find a consensual definition. It is in the attempt to give voice and to understand more about these behaviors that the present dissertation arises, aiming to find the crux of the critical point of the life of the minors that led to the delinquent behaviors, and creating a behavioral pattern that characterizes the current juvenile delinquency. With a theoretical and scientific basis, it is directed to a specific context of study and exhaustive investigation among the young people to comply with the tutelary educational measure of hospitalization. An innovative interview model, the Life-Line Interview Method, was applied to 13 young people to comply with the in-patient educational tuition measure, which carries out a deep interview based on a representative line of the interviewee's life history. The study was able to perceive that the delinquent behaviors revealed are the result of life histories marked by diverse situations coming from diverse contexts and diverse actors, mainly the familiar environment and the peer group.
