Análise crítica aos projetos de reabilitação de edifícios antigos pertencentes ao Centro Histórico de Viseu

| dc.description.abstract | Nos centros históricos das cidades, a temática da reabilitação de edifícios antigos tem assumido, na sociedade atual, particular relevância. Nos dias de hoje, considera-se que o edificado antigo, característico dos centros históricos das cidades, apresenta problemas construtivos associados à idade, devido essencialmente à falta de operações periódicas de manutenção, conservação e reabilitação. Neste contexto, as intervenções de reabilitação compreendem um papel fundamental, impedindo o abandono e a consequente ruína do edificado. Para a preservação da identidade dos locais com maior representatividade histórica, atendendo à satisfação das necessidades contemporâneas e atividades para as quais os espaços são projetados, verifica-se necessário o cumprimento de um conjunto de exigências, nomeadamente, de segurança (a nível estrutural e de incêndios), de habitabilidade/agradabilidade (a nível de conforto higrotérmico, qualidade do ar interior, proteção/estanquidade à água, salubridade, iluminação natural e conforto acústico), e de uso (a nível das acessibilidades). Nesta dissertação apresenta-se a análise da metodologia de intervenção de reabilitação, de diferentes edifícios localizados no Centro Histórico de Viseu. O presente trabalho pretende evidenciar diferentes metodologias de reabilitação aplicadas a edifícios com usos variados, cujas intervenções são da responsabilidade da Sociedade de Reabilitação Urbana de Viseu (Viseu Novo, SRU). Para tal, a referida análise é desenvolvida com base na observação dos projetos de reabilitação, de arquitetura e de algumas especialidades: estabilidade, acessibilidades, térmica, acústica e ventilação. Por fim, na análise crítica dos casos de estudo é considerado o conhecimento técnico de materiais e disposições construtivas, e a legislação em vigor, sendo apresentadas algumas propostas de melhoria aos projetos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: In the historical centers of the cities, the theme of the rehabilitation of old buildings, has assumed relevance in today´s society. The old buildings, characteristic of the historical centers of the cities, are, in our days, considered to represent edification problems, mainly due to the age and to the lack of periodical operations of maintenance, conservation and rehabilitation. In this context, the rehabilitation intervention plays a fundamental role, preventing the abandonment and the consequent ruin of the building. In order to preserve the identity of the places with major historical representation, taking in to the account the satisfaction of the contemporary needs and activities, for which the buildings were project to, it is necessary to full field some requirements, namely the safety (at the levels of structural and fire), the habitability/ pleasantness (at the level of higrotermal comfort, the indoor air quality, the protection/ weathertightness, salubrity, natural light and acoustic comfort) and of use (accessibilities). This dissertation presents an analysis of the methodology used in the rehabilitation, considering different buildings located in the historical center of the portuguese city: Viseu. The present work pretends to demonstrate the different methodologies of rehabilitation applied to the buildings with different uses, which interventions are from the responsibility of the Society of the Urban rehabilitation of Viseu (Viseu Novo, SRU). For this purpose, this analysis is developed based on the observation of the projects of the rehabilitation, the architecture and of some specialties: stability, accessibility, thermic, acoustic and ventilation. Lastly, in the critical analysis of the case studies are considered the technical knowledge of materials and constructive dispositions as well as the legislation, with some proposals for improvement to the projects. | pt_PT |
