A Arte no Ensino e Aprendizagem da Simetria: Uma experiência no2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico

| dc.description.abstract | Este relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e pretende evidenciar tanto o percurso feito no decorrer das práticas de ensino supervisionadas, como o projeto de investigação na área de Matemática que decorreu no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (doravante CEB). O relatório foi estruturado em duas partes. A primeira resume o trabalho desenvolvido ao nível das práticas de ensino supervisionadas, no 1.º e 2.º CEB (aprendizagens, dificuldades e reflexão sobre o trabalho desenvolvido) e, na segunda parte, é apresentado o projeto de investigação. O projeto desenvolvido tinha como objetivo principal a compreensão do conceito de Simetria, por alunos do 6.º ano de uma escola pertencente ao distrito de Viseu, a partir do trabalho com tarefas que envolviam a análise de elementos de Arte, utilizando materiais didáticos. Trata-se de um estudo de orientação naturalista que adota como instrumentos a observação direta, as notas de campo e a análise documental das resoluções dos alunos. Os resultados da investigação mostram que a utilização de materiais didáticos durante a resolução de tarefas auxilia a compreensão dos conceitos, por parte dos alunos, e que trabalhar tarefas para estudar a Simetria de elementos de Arte permite estudar contextos ricos e potencializadores de aprendizagens com significado, particularmente porque esses contextos não matemáticos e ligados ao dia a dia ajudam a dar significado à Matemática escolar, permitindo analisar e perspetivar uma Matemática menos abstrata. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This report was elaborated in the scope of the Masters in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education and intends to highlight both the course done in the course of supervised teaching practices, as the research project in the area of Mathematics that took place in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education (hereinafter CEB). The report was structured in two parts. The first one summarizes the work developed at the level of supervised teaching practices, in the 1st and 2nd CEB (learning, difficulties and reflection on the work developed) and, in the second part, the research project is presented. The main objective of the project was the understanding of the concept of Symmetry by students of the 6th year of a school belonging to the district of Viseu, starting from the work with tasks that involved the analysis of elements of Art using teaching materials. It is a naturalistic study that adopts as instruments direct observation, field notes and documentary analysis of students' resolutions. The results of the research show that the use of didactic materials during the task resolution helps the students to understand the concepts and that work tasks to study the symmetry of elements of the Art allows to study rich contexts and potentializers of learning with meanings, particularly because these non-mathematical and day-to-day contexts help to give meaning to school mathematics, allowing us to analyze and prospect a less abstract mathematics. | pt_PT |
