Abstract(s)
This report presents the final stage of the work developed under the Supervised Teaching Practice in the context of kindergarten, with the purpose of obtaining a Master's degree in Preschool Education. The Pedagogical Practice was held during two semesters which allowed us to have a broader knowledge of the interests and needs of each child. In this regard, a problem - question arises: "How do repetitive narrative rhymes and riddles contribute to language development of children in preschool?", we decided to study children aged four and five years. We chose a qualitative investigation of character, based on a case study, using as instruments for data collection and participant observation, repetitive narration related activities, rhymes and riddles. With the data obtained during the investigation, we conclude that the performance of activities proved significant for all children and that potentiate the development of their language
