Abstract(s)
As artes são elementos indispensáveis no desenvolvimento da expressão pessoal, social e cultural de qualquer pessoa. São formas de saber que articulam imaginação, razão e emoção. Elas perpassam as vidas das pessoas, trazendo novas perspetivas, formas e densidades ao ambiente e à sociedade em que se vive.
A vivência artística influencia o modo como se aprende, como se comunica e como se interpretam os significados do quotidiano. Desta forma, contribui para o desenvolvimento de diferentes competências e reflete-se no modo como se pensa, no que se pensa e no que se produz com o pensamento.
O presente trabalho surge como conclusão do Mestrado em Animação Artística da Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viseu. Tem como objetivo principal descobrir se as atividades artísticas têm importância no desenvolvimento cultural e social da juventude como forma de integração e motivação escolar. Contextualizando assim as possibilidades da pintura mural numa proposição educativa em artes, por meio de uma oficina de arte mural, com dois grupos de jovens do ensino profissional, um do IEFP de Castelo Branco e outro da Escola Secundária de Alcains. Tal premissa foi pensada e embasada tendo em conta a arte urbana e suas confluências no espaço, como auxílio a experiências em artes junto dos jovens, através de entrelaçamentos com a educação na contemporaneidade, a arte, a pintura e o quotidiano destes jovens. Numa tentativa de proporcionar a estes jovens, vivências escolares que ao mesmo tempo os tornam cidadãos críticos e mais conscientes da sociedade em que habitam.
The arts are essential elements in the development of personal, social and cultural expression of any person. They are ways of knowing which articulate imagination, reason and emotion. They permeate people´s lives, bringing new perspectives, shapes and densities to the environment and society in which we live. The artistic experience influences the way we learn, communicate and interpret the meanings of everyday life. Therefore it contributes to the development of different skills and is reflected in the way we think as well as what we think and what is produced with the thought. This work is the conclusion of the Master Degree in Artistic Animation, of Viseu Polytechnic. Its main goal is to find out if the artistic activities are important for the cultural and social development of youth as a mean of integration and school motivation. Then there was a contextualizing process of the possibilities of an educational mural proposition through the arts, in a workshop wall art, with two groups of young people in vocational education, one from IEFP from Castelo Branco and the other group from the Secondary School from Alcains. This premise was designed and grounded in view of the urban art and its confluences in space, as an aid to testing on arts among young people, through entanglements with education in contemporary, art, painting and everyday life of these young people. In an attempt of providing these young people school experiences at the same time making them critical citizens more aware of the society they inhabit.
