Pretende-se, com este artigo, divulgar a experiência de apoio à integração
socioprofissional de pessoas ciganas, inserida num projeto de natureza socioeducativa - Estrelas
Sorridentes - desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio do curso de licenciatura em Educação Social
da Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu, implementado no ano letivo de 2014/15, numa escola
básica de um agrupamento de escolas da zona centro do país e integrado na intervenção
socioeducativa em famílias sinalizadas num projeto mais abrangente do respetivo agrupamento
- EnTRe Laços. O apoio aqui relatado inclui apenas a intervenção realizada junto de famílias de
etnia cigana, nomeadamente no que se refere à sua integração socioprofissional que se revelou
bem-sucedida.
Abstract: This article aims to present the socio-professional integration experience of Roma participants, from a internship project - “Estrelas Sorridentes” – developed in the Social Education degree of Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu and implemented in 2014/15 in a basic school located in the center of Portugal. One of the intervention strategies of this project was socio-educational intervention in families, referred by another project: the EnTRe Laços. We report in this work, the intervention realized in Roma families, in particular with regard to their socio-professional integration that proved to be successful in this project.
