Transformações na perceção da liberdade no Ensino da História no 2.ª CEB

O presente Relatório Final de Estágio encontra-se estruturado em duas partes. A primeira parte consiste numa reflexão crítica sobre as práticas educativas que desenvolvi ao longo do curso, no 1.ª e no 2.ª Ciclo do Ensino Básico, onde me permiti experienciar novas realidades em contacto com as práticas, metodologias e aprendizagens. Foram realizados dois estágios distintos no 1.ª CEB, realizados no 1.ª ano de mestrado, no 1ª semestre, numa turma do 1.ª ano e no 2.ª semestre, numa turma do 2.ª ano em diferentes escolas. Já no 2.ª ano de mestrado, realizei o estágio do 2.ª CEB na mesma escola e nas mesmas turmas, 5.ª ano de Português e 6.ª ano de História e Geografia de Portugal, ao longo de todo o ano letivo. A segunda parte deste trabalho apresenta e descreve uma investigação intitulada “Transformações na perceção da liberdade no Ensino da História no 2º CEB”, que recorre a uma metodologia mista, combinando dados quantitativos e qualitativos, com o objetivo de compreender como é que os alunos de uma turma específica e selecionada do 6.ª ano percecionam o conceito de liberdade. Este estudo recorre à aplicação de dois questionários como instrumento para a recolha dos dados, um antes e outro após a lecionação dos conteúdos relacionados com o Estado Novo e a Revolução do 25 de abril, permitindo não só quantificar alterações nas respostas dos alunos, mas também interpretar qualitativamente a forma como compreendem e articulam as ideias sobre a liberdade.
The present Final Internship Report is structured in two parts. The first part consists of a critical reflection on the educational practices I developed throughout the course, in the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education, where I had the opportunity to experience new realities through contact with practices, methodologies, and learning processes. Two distinct internships were carried out in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, during the 1st year of the Master’s degree: in the 1st semester, in a 1st-grade class, and in the 2nd semester, in a 2nd-grade class, in different schools. In the 2nd year of the Master’s degree, I completed the internship in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education at the same school and with the same classes 5th grade Portuguese and 6th grade History and Geography of Portugal throughout the entire academic year. The second part of this work presents and describes a research study entitled “Transformations in the Perception of Freedom in the Teaching of History in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education,” which adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data, with the aim of understanding how students from a specific selected 6th-grade class perceive the concept of freedom. This study involves the application of two questionnaires as data collection instruments, one before and one after the teaching of content related to the Estado Novo and the April 25 Revolution. This approach allows not only the quantification of changes in students’ responses but also a qualitative interpretation of how they understand and articulate ideas about freedom.
