Calcinosis is a rare condition described in pets. It is characterized mainly by calcium deposition in the skin of multifactorial aetiology that ranges from dystrophic, metastatic, idiopathic to iatrogenic origin (Scott et al., 2001, Gross et al., 2005) .
Subdivide in calcinosis cutis and calcinosis circumscripta (Gross et al. 2005).
The objective of this paper is a case study about calcinosis, to alert medical and veterinary teams for this rare condition which seriously affects the health and well-being of the animal, in order to be considered in the differential diagnosis of skin conditions and diseases
