Resumo
Este ensaio procura refletir a respeito da experiência
social de ex-seringueiros enquanto contadores de histórias e
“causos” no Vale do Juruá, uma vez que, para além de evocar
uma identidade distinta, o contador juruaense marca uma
socialidade – um imaginário e um “ver o mundo” –
inextricavelmente marcado pela presença de uma memória
rica e pela complexidade do imaginário amazônico.
Abstract This essay seeks to reflect on "tales" in Juruá Valley and on the social experience of the "narrator" as a storyteller, since, in addition to evoking a distinct identity, the juruaense storyteller marks a sociality – an imaginary and a "see the world" – inextricably marked by the presence of a rich memory rich and the complexity of the rich imagery of the Amazon.
