Abstract(s)
Enquadramento – As dificuldades sentidas no curso de enfermagem traduzem-se em
estados de ansiedade, stresse e depressão.
Objetivos – Identificar as variáveis sociodemográficas e académicas que interferem no
stresse, ansiedade e depressão dos estudantes de enfermagem; analisar a relação entre as
variáveis de contexto psicológico e sonolência diurna com o stresse, ansiedade e
depressão.
Material e Método – Estudo transversal, descritivo correlacional realizado numa amostra
não probabilística por conveniência. Recorreu-se ao questionário de caracterização
sociodemográfica e académica e às escalas de Ansiedade Depressão e Stresse; Escala de
Sonolência de Epworth; Inventário de Personalidade de Eysenck – versão curta e Escala de
Bem-Estar Subjetivo.
Resultados – Dos 403 estudantes de enfermagem, 86.0% do sexo feminino, 38.5% com
idade ≤ 20 anos, 86.1% são solteiros, 59.1% residem na cidade, 53.8% coabitam com os
familiares, 28.0% frequentam o quarto ano. Estudantes solteiros/divorciados do 1º e 2º anos,
residentes no meio rural, sem atividade remunerada e sem bolsa apresentam níveis mais
elevados de depressão, ansiedade e stresse. Quanto mais bem-estar negativo e
neuroticismo maior é a ansiedade e o stresse nos estudantes de enfermagem, os que
apresentam bem-estar positivo, neuroticismo e extroversão manifestam menor depressão.
Há relação entre a depressão, ansiedade, stresse e sonolência diurna, destacando-se os
participantes sem sonolência diurna.
Conclusão: A idade, o estado civil, o ano que frequentam, a zona de residência interferem
na depressão, ansiedade e stresse dos estudantes de enfermagem e há relação entre as
variáveis de contexto psicológico e sonolência diurna, com variáveis dependentes.

Appealed to the questionnaire of sociodemographic and academic characterization and scales of Anxiety Depression and Stress; Epworth Sleepiness Scale; Eysenck Personality Inventory - short version and Subjective Well-Being Scale. The more negative well-being and higher neuroticism is anxiety and stress in nursing students, those with positive well-being, neuroticism and extroversion manifest minor depression. There is a relationship between depression, anxiety, stress and daytime sleepiness, highlighting the participants without daytime sleepiness.
