Abstract(s)
qualidade.
The presente Final Internship Report, investigates the influence of color blindness on visual perception and creative development in children within a school environment. This work, carried out as part of the Master's Degree in Teaching Visual and Technological Education, is structured into two parts: the first part reflects on the pedagogical practices developed during the Supervised Teaching Practices , while the second part presents an investigation focused on the experience of a color-blind student. Using qualitative methodologies, such as semi-structured interviews and focus groups, the study seeks to understand how color-blind children perceive the visual space and how this can impact their artistic expression. The results highlight the need for an inclusive educational environment that values visual diversity, allowing students with color blindness to explore their creativity without limitations. The report emphasizes the importance of raising educators' awareness of the specific needs of color-blind students and implementing adapted pedagogical practices that promote self-expression and student autonomy. This work underlines that fostering an inclusive environment and valuing each student's unique abilities are essential for their academic and emotional success, contributing to the development of equitable and high-quality education.
