| dc.description.abstract | Na presente investigação, pretendemos estudar as finalidades da Educação Tecnológica no âmbito da pedagogia desenvolvida por John Dewey. Este autor deixou um legado educacional muito amplo na pedagogia contemporânea, no qual procurou estabelecer as bases para a educação ativa, onde a aprendizagem experiencial e o compromisso ativo entre o aluno e o seu meio ambiente são aspetos fundamentais. Neste sentido, pretendemos com o presente trabalho saber de que forma as finalidades da Educação Tecnológica se enquadram nos ideais pedagógicos impulsionados por John Dewey e que atividades desenvolvidas nesta disciplina se enquadram na pedagogia de Dewey. Por forma a alcançar os objetivos delineados para este trabalho, recorremos a uma metodologia de investigação quantitativa e qualitativa, cujo instrumento de recolha de dados utilizado foi o questionário com perguntas de resposta aberta e fechada, aplicado a uma amostra de trinta e dois professores de Educação Tecnológica pertencentes a quatro Agrupamentos de Escolas do distrito de Viseu. Os resultados obtidos demonstram que os professores inquiridos evidenciam uma estreita relação entre as Finalidades da disciplina de Educação Tecnológica e a pedagogia de Dewey. Contudo, as alterações implementadas pela nova Reforma Curricular, no que diz respeito a esta disciplina, nem sempre permitem adequar os princípios pedagógicos de Dewey ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem da disciplina de Educação Tecnológica. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | In the present investigation, we aim to study the aims of the Technological Education, concerning the pedagogy developed by John Dewey. This author has left a wide educational legacy in the contemporary pedagogy, in which he sought to establish the basis to the active education, in which the experiential learning and the active compromise between the student and his environment are central aspects. Consequently, with the present work, we aim to know in which way the aims of the Technological Education are fit in the learning ideals throttled by John Dewey, and which activities developed in this course are fi in Deweys’ pedagogy. In a way to pursuit the aims proposed to this work, we have recurred to a methodology of quantitative and qualitative research, to which we have used a quiz elaborated with opened and closed answer, subjected to a sample of thirty-two Technological Education teachers inserted in four groups of schools in the district of Viseu. The results obtained demonstrate that the inquired teachers evidence a close relation between the aims of the Technology Education course and Dewey’s pedagogy. However, the changes implemented by the new Curricular Reform, concerning this course, not always allow to adequate Dewey’s pedagogical principles to the teaching-learning process at the Technological Education course. | por |
