Resumo
O presente estudo, ancorado numa abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa, pretende conceber e implementar um espetáculo teatral com tecnologia multimédia a partir da obra pessoana com o objetivo de criar um espetáculo multidisciplinar. Neste sentido, a questão orientadora que sustenta todo o projeto é: “qual o papel da multimédia nas artes performativas?”. A partir da obra ortónima e heterónima de Fernando Pessoa, o espetáculo procurou definir o eu plural de Fernando Pessoa, e proporcionar um momento de reflexão sobre o eu que cada um deles define ser. A investigação teórica permitiu estabelecer uma linha cronológica no desenvolvimento da multimédia nas artes performativas, bem como definir conceitos e técnicas essenciais para o desenvolvimento de todo o processo criativo. A seleção de modelos de referência, quer no que respeita à multimédia, quer no que respeita à base exploratória de dramaturgia- Fernando Pessoa- foram relevantes para a definição da linha criativa.
Havendo cada vez mais uma maior recetividade na unificação das diferentes áreas artísticas, e tendo sido considerado o recurso da multimédia uma mais-valia para o espetáculo, acredita-se ter alargado o horizonte criativo e crítico, permitindo um avanço artístico no trabalho multidisciplinar.
Abstract This study, supported by qualitative research, is aimed at the creation and execution of a multimedia technology theatrical show based on Fernando Pessoa’s work having, therefore, a multidisciplinary scope. In this sense, the guiding question that is brought upon during the whole project is: "what is the role of multimedia in performing arts?" Having Fernando Pessoa’s orthonymic and heteronymous work in mind, the show sought out to define Pessoa’s plural self, while providing the audience with a moment of reflection on what each one of them defines themselves as being. Theoretical research made it possible to establish a chronological timeline of the use of multimedia in performing arts, as well as defining crucial concepts and technics to the creative process. The choice of examples, both in terms of multimedia and playwriting – Fernando Pessoa – were relevant in setting the artistic guidelines. The ever greater openness to unification of the various artistic fields, and considering the added value multimedia gave to the show, we believe that we expanded our creative and critical horizon, allowing for artistic maturement in multidisciplinary work.
