Abstract(s)
O foco deste trabalho é a autoeficácia parental com crianças com Perturbação do Espectro do Autismo (PEA). Uma intervenção só se torna eficaz quando englobamos todo o universo que rodeia a criança. Assim, falaremos da instituição mais importante para a integração e apresentação à sociedade – família. A dinâmica que ocorre entre pais e filhos é importante estudar pois, dentro dela, existe um conceito que se torna essencial mencionar e dar-lhe especial atenção, a eficácia parental, que pode levar ao sucesso na intervenção. Realizou-se um estudo exploratório, em 10 mães e pais de crianças com PEA, que preencheram o Questionário de Dados Sociodemográficos; o Questionário de Sentimento de Competência Parental (PSOC-Port.) e o Questionário de Capacidades e Dificuldades (SQD-Por). Recorreu-se à análise de dados descritiva. De acordo com os resultados desta análise, constatou-se que a eficácia parental contribui para o sucesso da intervenção com crianças com PEA. Concluiu-se que os pais/mães, com melhor eficácia percebida, estão mais preparados para contribuir para o desenvolvimento psicossocial dos seus filhos/filhas (Dunn et al., 2012; Fonseca, 2018).
The focus of this work is parental self-efficacy with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). An intervention only becomes effective when we encompass the entire universe that surrounds the child. Thus, we will talk about the most important institution for integration and presentation to society – family. The dynamics that occur between parents and children are important to study because, within it, there is a concept that becomes essential to mention and give special attention to, parental effectiveness, which can lead to success in the intervention. An exploratory study was carried out in 10 mothers and fathers with children with ASD, who filled out the sociodemographic data (SD) questionnaire; the Parental Competence Feeling Questionnaire (PSOC-Port.) and the Abilities and Difficulties Questionnaire (SQD-Por). The Descriptive data analysis was used. According to the results of this analysis, it was found that parental efficacy is critical to the success of intervention with children with ASD. It was concluded that fathers/mothers, with better perceived efficacy, are more prepared to contribute to the psychosocial development of their sons/daughters (Dunn et al., 2012; Fonseca, 2018).
