Abstract(s)
Introdução: As alterações sociodemográficas atuais e o aumento crescente do número
de pessoas dependentes no domicílio a necessitar de cuidados, implicam mudanças nas
políticas de saúde, onde os Cuidadores Informais assumem um importante papel como aliados
da equipa de saúde.
Objetivo: Identificar as intervenções do enfermeiro de reabilitação num programa de
reabilitação domiciliária, de forma a capacitar a Pessoa e os Cuidadores Informais no
processo de gestão da doença.
Metodologia: Considerou-se pertinente realizar uma Revisão Sistemática da
Literatura, recorrendo à metodologia PICO (Population, Intervention/Issue Of Interest,
Comparison Intervention Or Comparison Group, Outcome), a partir de bases de dados
eletrónicas de referência, com o objetivo de promover a reflexão na ação e sobre a ação. Foi
elaborada a questão de investigação no seguinte formato: ”O papel do enfermeiro de
reabilitação na capacitação do cuidador informal nos cuidados domiciliários”.
Resultados: Constatamos que as intervenções do enfermeiro especialista em
reabilitação na comunidade e junto dos cuidadores se desenvolvem em vários níveis,
nomeadamente: na manutenção de um ambiente seguro, na identificação de barreiras
arquitetónicas e nas propostas de eliminação das mesmas, na orientação de alterações
estruturais/físicas do domicílio de forma a facilitar a adaptação à nova condição de saúde, na
monitorização da condição da pessoa com limitações, através da utilização de instrumentos de
medida que permitem a avaliação da dependência/independência e das dificuldades sentidas
na realização das atividades da vida diária. Atuam, ainda, na capacitação dos cuidadores na
realização de cuidados ao doente dependente, na prevenção do aparecimento de complicações
que possam atrasar o processo de reabilitação, no estabelecimento de objetivos reais e
atingíveis com o programa de reabilitação, bem como no desenvolvimento de estratégias
adaptativas e conhecimento do material de apoio existente
Conclusão: Os programas de reabilitação realizados no domicílio, através das
intervenções do enfermeiro de reabilitação, contribuem para uma melhor efetividade na
capacitação da pessoa/cuidador informal no processo de autogestão da doença, com melhoria
da autonomia da pessoa e com evidentes ganhos em saúde.

Results: The interventions of rehabilitation nurses in the community are developed in several levels: in the maintenance of a safe environment, in the identification of architectural barriers suggesting the elimination of the same, as well as in the orientation of structural / physical changes in the home, in order to facilitate adaptation to the new health condition, whether temporary or progressive; In the monitoring of people with limitations, through the use of measurement instruments that allow the evaluation of dependency / independence and difficulties experienced in the accomplishment of daily life activities; In the prevention of the appearance of complications that may delay the rehabilitation process; In establishing real and achievable goals with the rehabilitation program, as well as in the development of adaptive strategies and knowledge of the existing support material. Conclusion: Rehabilitation programs carried out at home, through the interventions of the rehabilitation nurse, contribute to a better effectiveness in the training of the informal person / caregiver in the process of self-management of the disease, with improved autonomy of the person, with obvious gains in health.
