Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório Final de Estágio resulta da análise crítica e reflexiva da Prática Profissional Supervisionada realizada no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo de Educação Básica. A investigação decorreu no contexto de Jardim de Infância durante o ano letivo de 2023/2024. O tema central da investigação emerge da convicção que as crianças têm uma voz e devem ser ouvidas no seu ambiente educativo. O estudo explora o direito à participação das crianças, consagrado no artigo 12.º da Convenção dos Direitos da Criança e analisa como essa participação pode influenciar o desenvolvimento das suas competências sociais, culturais e cognitivas. Para tal, foi utilizada uma abordagem qualitativa com recurso a entrevistas realizadas a crianças e educadoras. Os resultados obtidos demonstram a importância de promover a participação ativa das crianças nos processos de decisão que lhes dizem respeito, contribuindo para o seu desenvolvimento como cidadãs conscientes e responsáveis. Este relatório destaca, assim, a relevância de criar espaços educativos que valorizem e escutem a opinião das crianças.
This Final Internship Report results from the critical and reflective analysis of the Supervised Professional Practice carried out within the scope of the master’s degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. The research took place in the context of kindergarten during the 2023/2024 school year. The central theme of the research emerges from the conviction that children have a voice and should be heard in their educational environment. The study explores children's right to participation, enshrined in Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and looks at how such participation can influence the development of their social, cultural and cognitive competences. To this end, a qualitative approach was used using interviews with children and educators. The results obtained demonstrate the importance of promoting the active participation of children in the decision-making processes that concern them, contributing to their development as conscious and responsible citizens. This report thus highlights the relevance of creating educational spaces that value and listen to children's opinions.
