Abstract(s)
Enquadramento: Ao longo do percurso formativo do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, torna-se essencial aprofundar temáticas que qualifiquem a prática clínica e promovam cuidados centrados no binómio criança/família. O aleitamento materno é recomendado em exclusivo até aos 6 meses de idade. Apesar dos benefícios, existem contraindicações, e nestes casos, é fundamental garantir uma alternativa segura e adequada às necessidades nutricionais do lactente. Neste contexto, surge a adaptação transcultural do “Álbum Seriado” Vialáctea, para Portugal, um recurso educativo sobre segurança alimentar e nutricional de crianças menores de 6 meses que não são amamentadas.
Objetivos: Refletir e descrever de forma crítica, as atividades concretizadas para o desenvolvimento de competências comuns e especificas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica; Realizar a adaptação transcultural do “Álbum Seriado” Via láctea para a realidade portuguesa;
Metodologia: Inicialmente, é utilizada uma metodologia descritivo-reflexiva sobre o percurso formativo nos diversos contextos de estágio. Posteriormente, foi realizada a adaptação transcultural do instrumento destinado à Educação para a Saúde, dividida em duas partes, a tradução e adaptação cultural do conteúdo textual e do conteúdo imagético.
Resultados: Manual Ilustrado adaptado culturalmente à população portuguesa sobre alternativas ao leite materno, destinado a educação para a saúde e para partilha entre as famílias de crianças até aos 6 meses não amamentadas.
Conclusão: O trabalho desenvolvido ao longo dos estágios e no presente relatório, constitui um contributo para a melhoria contínua dos cuidados de enfermagem. É fundamental a criação de novos instrumentos de educação para a saúde, que abordem alternativas ao leite materno e segurança alimentar de crianças não amamentadas com menos de 6 meses.

Abstract Backgroud: Throughout the training path of the Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing, it becomes essential to delve into topics that qualify clinical practice and promote care centered on the child/family binomial. Breastfeeding is recommended exclusively until 6 months of age. Despite the benefits, there are contraindications, and in these cases, it is essential to ensure a safe alternative that is suitable for the infant's nutritional needs. In this context, the cross-cultural adaptation of the “Álbum Seriado” Vialáctea, for Portugal, emerges, an educational resource on food and nutritional security for children under 6 months who are not breastfed. Objectives: To reflect and critically describe the activities carried out for the development of common and specific skills of the Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing; Carry out the cross-cultural adaptation of the “Álbum Seriado” Via Láctea to the Portuguese reality; Methodology: Initially, a descriptive-reflective methodology is used on the training path in the different internship contexts. Subsequently, the cross-cultural adaptation of the instrument intended for Health Education was carried out, divided into two parts, the translation and cultural adaptation of the textual content and the image content. Results: Illustrated Manual culturally adapted to the Brazilian population on alternatives to breast milk, intended for health education and for sharing among families of children up to 6 months who are not breastfed. Conclusion: The work developed throughout the internships and in this report constitutes a contribution to the continuous improvement of nursing care. It is essential to create new health education instruments that address alternatives to breast milk and food security for non-breastfed children under 6 months of age.
