O presente relatório final de estágio insere-se no âmbito da conclusão do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e encontrase dividido em duas partes complementares. A primeira parte corresponde à reflexão crítica sobre as aprendizagens desenvolvidas ao longo das Práticas de Ensino Supervisionadas no contexto do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e da Educação Pré-Escolar. Esta reflexão permite evidenciar o percurso formativo e o processo de construção da identidade profissional, sustentado em referenciais teóricos e legais, nomeadamente o Despacho n.º 16034/2010. A segunda parte centra-se no estudo intitulado “A área da fábrica como espaço de brincar e criar: análise do potencial para a educação ambiental”, que teve como principal objetivo compreender de que forma este espaço pode promover aprendizagens significativas e ecológicas em contexto de Educação Pré-Escolar. Deste modo, ambas as partes são sustentadas por evidências da prática, incluindo registos fotográficos e contributos de autores de referência que abordam as temáticas em análise. A investigação realizada seguiu uma abordagem de natureza qualitativa que contou com a participação das crianças, educador cooperante e famílias, a fim de contribuírem para os temas a serem investigados. Ao longo do estudo privilegiou-se como técnicas de recolha de dados a observação participante, o diário de bordo e as entrevistas. Esta investigação foi sustentada nos princípios do Movimento da Escola Moderna (MEM), procurando analisar o papel do brincar livre, do uso de materiais reutilizáveis e naturais, da abordagem STEAM (Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia, Artes e Matemática) e dos espaços maker, na construção de uma consciência ambiental desde a infância. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam que a área da fábrica constitui um contexto privilegiado para o desenvolvimento da criatividade, da autonomia e do pensamento crítico das crianças, promovendo simultaneamente atitudes de respeito e responsabilidade ambiental.
This final internship report is part of the completion of the Master’s Degree in Preschool Education and Teaching in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and is divided into two complementary sections. The first section corresponds to a critical reflection on the learning developed throughout the Supervised Teaching Practice in the contexts of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Preschool Education. This reflection highlights the training path and the process of constructing professional identity, supported by theoretical and legal frameworks, namely Order no. 16034/2010. The second section focuses on the study entitled “The factory area as a space for playing and creating: analysis of its potential for environmental education”, which main objective was to understand how this space can promote meaningful and ecological learning in Preschool Education. Thus, both sections are supported by practice-based evidence, including photographic records and contributions from reference authors who address the topics under analysis. The research followed a qualitative approach and involved the participation of children, the cooperating teacher, and families, who contributed to the issues under investigation. Throughout the study, participant observation, a reflective journal, and interviews were used as the main data collection techniques. This investigation was grounded in the principles of the Modern School Movement (MEM), seeking to analyze the role of free play, the use of reusable and natural materials, the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), and maker spaces in fostering environmental awareness from early childhood. The results obtained show that the factory area constitutes a privileged context for the development of children’s creativity, autonomy, and critical thinking, while simultaneously promoting attitudes of environmental respect and responsibility
